| Michael Dummett became - on the background of the International Playing Card Society - the outstanding Tarot researcher of the 80ies and 90ies in 20th century. His masterpiece was the Game of Tarot, (1980), later followed A wicked Pack of Cards (1996) about Tarot in 18th and 19th century in cooperation with Ron Decker and Thierry Depaulis and A History of the Occult Tarot: 1870-1970 (2002) together with Ron Decker and recently A History of Games Played with the Tarot Pack.The Game of Triumphs., 2004, in cooperation with John McLeod, owner of the internet-site pagat.com. In Italian language Il Mondo e l'Angelo, also related to Tarot, was published in 1993.
Michael Dummett had taught logic in Oxford and published various books in this topic. He's noted as leading expert in this field. In our work it was often a problem, that Dummett's Game of Tarot was out of print. We had to help us often enough with incomplete copies of single passages. Own Links
